During the road to WrestleMania 36, a love triangle storyline garnered a lot of attention from the WWE Universe. Mandy Rose, Otis, and Dolph Ziggler indulged in an angle that culminated at the Show of Shows. The conclusion saw Otis finally kiss Rose, as the pair became an on-screen couple. Recently, the former WWE Superstar spoke in detail about her romance angle with the 32-year-old star.
While speaking on her Power Alphas podcast, Rose revealed that Otis ‘stuck a little tongue’ in one of their kisses. The former NXT Women’s Champion added that she told her partner to slow down. Obviously, Rose found the hilarious side of things, terming it a ‘wild’ experience for her.
Unfortunately, the storyline couldn’t play out in front of live fans due to the COVID pandemic. Prior to the world shutting down, Rose and Otis‘ weekly romance segments quickly became the most popular angles on television.

Following their heartwarming moment at the Grandest Stage of Them All, the on-screen pairing abruptly ended after a few months. Rose has stated previously how she would have preferred for the storyline to have continued longer.
The duo would go on separate paths, with the former Heavy Machinery member embarking on a short-lived singles run. Meanwhile, Mandy Rose later joined NXT, where she eventually became the longest reigning women’s champion in the brand’s history.
Why WWE fired Mandy Rose in 2022?
Speaking of her record-breaking title reign in NXT, Mandy Rose lost her Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez in December 2022. However, not many at the time predicted that this would serve as her last match for WWE. Following her loss, Rose was shockingly released by the company.
Reports confirmed that The Toxic Attraction leader’s off-screen adult content ventures did not sit well with the higher-ups. Following her firing, Rose shifted focus to creating content as she earned seven-figure profits. In a recent interview, the OnlyFans model admitted that she misses wrestling inside the squared circle.
Moreover, Rose appeared at the Pro Wrestling Combine event on September 4. The 34-year-old was spotted running between the ropes, leaving fans speculating about a potential comeback. Despite that, it seems unlikely that WWE intends to bring back the former Absolution member.
