Without a doubt, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline have changed the landscape of WWE. Since the inception of the storyline, various top stars have suffered the consequences of dealing with the faction. One of the superstars who has feuded with The Bloodline for almost two years, Cody Rhodes, recently joined forces with his longtime rival. This newly formed alliance is bound to test friendships and loyalties in the coming months.

The effect of this was instantly visible on SmackDown. Kevin Owens has expressed that he is unhappy with Rhodes’ decision to team with Reigns. This has led to a couple of heated moments between the two friends. In fact, Randy Orton had to separate them on the latest episode of SmackDown after Cody inadvertently helped The Bloodline win. And who can blame KO?

Reigns and the faction have tortured The Prizefighter for years, even putting him on the shelf on multiple occasions. Moreover, Owens helped The American Nightmare in his quest to finish the story. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the former Universal Champion feels betrayed.

Similar to Drew McIntyre last year, this could be the beginning of a slow-burn heel turn for KO. The 40-year-old might vent out his frustration by finally attacking Rhodes in the near future. Meanwhile, Orton will be closely monitoring the situation.

Although The Apex Predator has assured he’s fine with it, Cody Rhodes cannot turn a blind eye to his threat. After all, this is The Viper, who has hurt his closest allies in the past without hesitating. Hence, it’ll be a tricky few months for the former AEW star as he deals with several issues on hand.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns’ partnership will also bring changes to the Raw main event scene

The Bloodline saga isn’t just limited to making major changes to SmackDown. The counterpart Raw brand has a couple of stars who could soon join the fray. Former members of the faction, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, have been long rumored to help their former leader.

At the moment, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are outnumbered in their battle against the faction. Therefore, The OTC should pay a visit on Monday nights and reconcile with the two UCEs. Moreover, this would mean Raw losing two of its biggest stars to the blue brand.

Similar to last year, a trade between both sides could be the way to approach this. With Sami and Jey leaving Raw, two top stars from SmackDown can go to Monday nights. Of course, this is the expected roadmap to The Bloodline civil war at Survivor Series. For months, reports have suggested that faction warfare will headline the show inside WarGames.
