The National Football League (NFL) was left in shock in recent times as future Hall of Fame, Aaron Rodgers made a move. The superstar left the Green Bay Packers and made his way to the Big Apple after signing with the New York Jets. NFL fans have since lost their cool and are excited for the 39-year-old to perform in NY. One of these people is MLB great Alex Rodriguez.
The former NY Yankees star is all too familiar with big moves. After making his name for the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers, Rodriguez joined the Yankees in 2004. The baseball star who has since become famous as A-Rod, achieved a lot of success while appearing for the NY-based side. He now thinks Rodgers would be a perfect fit for the Jets.
While appearing at the Pat McAfee show, A-Rod shared some advice to Rodgers. The former baseball star hopes that Rodgers can achieve great things while being in New York. “He is very, very, very smart, a first-ballot Hall of Famer.” “Hopefully he can do great things for the Jets,” Rodriguez said at the show. Regarding his NY arrival, A-Rod stated that “He’s (Rodgers) having fun“.
Alex Rodriguez hopes for good times for Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets in upcoming season

Making a big money move or switching clubs is never easy. The expectations on the player’s shoulders get heavy as they hoped to help deliver the team’s ambition. Aaron Rodgers’ move to the New York Jets has been similar to it. The quarterback’s transfer to NY has been closely studied by experts and analysts. He though already has got the backing of another NY legend Alex Rodriguez.
The 14-time MLB All-star has become a larger-than-life superstar. His rise to stardom is matched by very few individuals. A-Rod certainly knows a thing or two or making a big switch. Rodriguez added that he is happy to have him (Rodgers) in New York and stated that Rodgers will just be fine living in the city.
Before making this switch, Rodgers spent 17 years playing for the Packers. His first game for his new team is likely to take place in pre-season. His first regular season game for the Jets will be on September 11. The 104th season of the NFL will kick off on September 7 this year. The Jets have not made the playoffs since 2010. Fans would be hoping Rodgers can help them break this streak.
