The 30-year-old pitcher is now patiently waiting for the right call, as he undoubtedly will have attractive suitors following him. As a starter and reliever, he has proved his worth by playing with the New York Mets. This time around, he wants to play for a team who will use him in the starting line.

Last season Trevor Williams delivered a 3.21 ERA on 30 appearances, including 9 starts. He further recorded a save and struck out 84 batters. His game season with the team was solid this time around. After looking at his actions, it can be said that the American baseball player will likely not be returning to the Mets for the next season.

While the tension raises considering Trevor’s choices, the organization is also dwelling on whether they should bring back 2-time CY Young winner Jacob deGrom. deGrom is undoubtedly one of the best players in the market.

Unfortunately, he was limited to  26 appearances in the last 2 seasons. Apart from playing with the Mets, Trevor has also played with Pittsburg Pirates and Chicago Cubs. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the 2013 MLB Draft in the 2nd round.
