The NASCAR community is heartbroken over the death of two times Cup champion Kyle Busch, at the age of just 41 due to severe pneumonia and sepsis. Among many rallying behind the Busch’s in support is the reigning Cup champion Kyle Larson and his family.

The No:5 Hendrick Motorsports drivers’ eight-year-old daughter Audrey Larson melted the hearts of the fans with a special tribute for the veteran after the recent tragedy. On Wednesday night the young racer won a won a dirt race in Nebraska and during post-race celebration, her gesture got fans attention.

She recreated the iconic Kyle Busch bow, something the veteran used to after majority of his win honoring the legacy of the 234 times NASCAR race winner. Last week at Charlotte, NASCAR race winners from all three series did the same to pay their respect.

Lats Sunday ahead of the race Kyle Larson’s Oldest, Owen Larson also had special moment with the Busch family. During the tribute for the veteran, he was seen giving a hug to Brexton Busch, Kyle Busch’s son. It was a proud dad moment for the No:5 HMS driver.  

When Owen went over there to put his arm around Brexton, that made me very proud of him. To see the emotion on Owen’s face when he came back over, it was also a proud moment because you don’t know how an 11-year-old is going to kind of grasp the situation and understand what has happened and the pain that they’re going through.

While both Audrey and Owen races like Kyle Larson, according to the two times champing his daughter is similar to him. She is someone that wants to race as much as she can, whether it on the track or the simulator. It is one the many traits that has helped Larson dominate the sport

(She) wants to watch video, run on the simulator, go to the go-kart track and practice, go testing at Millbridge, race as much as she can. I have fun with that because she’s more similar to me in that aspect.

Kyle Larson said about his daughter.

While Larson is really involved in the racing ventures of his children, he is not as aggressive in terms investment as Kyle Busch was or Kevin Harvick is. He doesn’t want to burn them out at a young age and is focused on making sure they are having fun, instead he is focused on making sure they are having fun behind the wheels.

But I also want to just keep it fun for them, not burn them out at a young age, which is, I think, easy to do.

Kyle Larson added.

The racer wants his children to grow up with passion and love for motorsports, while also investing their time into other aspects of life. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the young Larsons on the track and if they are going to continue paying tribute to Kyle Busch.
