Joey Logano has put pressure on fellow cup chasers with his Phoenix pole

Joey Logano
Joey Logano has secured the bar for the cup season finale at Phoenix. Logano who is chasing his second cup championship will have the edge over his rivals with the P1 start. The No:22 Penske Garage has the entire backing of the Ford Racing crew to go for the championship. They will hope for nothing less than a win on Sunday.
Joey Logano has made the first step towards the win with his pole win. It put the other three drivers under pressure. The P1 start is also a morale boost for Logano and the No:22 garage. They have one less stress to cope with on Sunday, which can make a huge difference.
“It keeps the pressure on them. That’s the goal. When you get here, it keeps the pressure on the competition. This team does terrific under pressure, and that’s why we thrive in playoffs and Championship 4-type moments. I love it. It makes me better, and I think it makes my whole race team better as well,” Joey Logano said on his pole.
The only championship contender Joey Logano will have to worry about at the start of the race is Chase Elliott. He will start the race at P5. The other two contenders, Christopher Bell and Ross Chastain had poor qualifying sessions. Bell will start the race at P17 and Chastain at P25.
Joey Logano has been the favorite to win every race this season

Joey Logano was asked whether the pole win makes him the race favorite. He claimed that he had been the favorite to win races throughout 2022. This has been Logano’s mentality throughout the season. He said the odds and favorite claims are just garbage in racing.
“We’ve been the favorite to win since the beginning of the year if you ask me. That’s my mindset. That’s the way I go to a racetrack. If I don’t go to a racetrack like that, I shouldn’t show up, so I’ve always said it doesn’t matter what everyone says about favorites and odds and all that garbage everyone posts,” Joey Logano said.
Joey Logano has great feeling about his team and their position. His team has proven themselves with the pole and is ready to challenge for the title on Sunday.
“I don’t care. I know what my odds should be and what I feel like they are, so I feel great about our position. As I said, I’ve got a great team, and we’ve proven today we’ve got a good horse, so we’re ready to rock and roll,” Joey Logano added.
