Tyler Reddick came out victorious in the first race of Round 12. He became the 4th non-playoff racer to win a post-season race. Tyler Reddick was eliminated from the playoff last week at Bristol. He failed to secure enough points to progress in the playoff.

This is the third time the No:8 Richard Childress Racing Camaro ZL1 is visiting the victory lane. Reddick had won two races in the regular season. Joey Logano became the highest finishing Playoff driver with a P2 finish. Kaulig Racing driver Justin Haley secured a surprising P3.

The Texas Motor Speedway produced one of the worst races of the season. The tires were a disaster at the track with nearly 90 percent of 17 cautions coming out due to tire failure. Former cup champions Chase Elliott, Kevin Harvick, and Martin Truex Jr. witnessed a premature end to their race day due to tire failure.

Cody Ware was another driver who was part of a deadly crash. The No:51 Mustang driver was carried to the hospital in an ambulance. The driver suffered a concussion after the scary crash. The race witnessed 36 lead changes. Tire failure was the main factor.
