The Los Angeles Lakers hosted their playoff game after the 2009-10 season back in their home. As both the teams came out prepared, it was expected to be an intense battle. The Los Angeles Lakers were all prepared and excited to run a playoff game after 11 years. As both the team started hard, Suns could not extend their 4-point lead coming in the 2nd quarter. Despite a heroic performance by Deandre Ayton, Phoenix were on the verge of blowout. Even Chris Paul missed easy shots from the paint and turned the possession. After bombing 32-points in the 2nd game, Anthony Davis poured 34-points by the end of regulation. He was followed by LeBron James and Dennis Schroder who had 21 and 22-points respectively.
Chris Paul making it look silly

After a shoulder injury in the start of the series, Chris Paul took control of the situation. The only tie when Phoenix was in close context got some highlight plays for them as well. Just during the 2nd quarter, Chris Paul controlled the ball and was getting past the mid line while Wesley Matthews defended him. However, CP3’s in and out dribble kept Wes guessing while he lost his balance and dropped on the floor. The little magician made a moment for the Suns’ fans to cheer about nailing down the mid-range jumper on Andre Drummond to tie the game at 33 each.

The Phoenix Suns were almost blown out by LeBron James’ explosive performance in the 2nd quarter. The king was just unstoppable. Dennis Schroder was also a menace to phoenix defense. His pace was unmatched while Booker pushed him in frustration when Lakers were on the verge of a victory. He faced an ejection and Jae Crowder was the next to go out. As Lakers are up by 2-1 in the series, Suns will look to tie up the scores before things get out of hands.
