NBA Hall of Fame Dennis Rodman was the greatest rebounder in the history of the league, his career average state that he scored only 7.3 points per game but got averaged 13.1 rebounds per game which proofs his legacy in the NBA.
Rodman played for various teams in his career. He was a member of Bad Boys Pistons who rule the era of the late 80s and won two titles with them, later in the 90s he achieved a three-peat with the Bulls. He was considered the biggest party animal and womanizer during his whole career. Rodman after ‘the last dance’ joined the Lakers in 1999 and it gave birth to a few more controversies of his life.

Dennis Rodman’s secret relationship with the Lakers owner Jeanie Buss
In a recent video posted by Life Speaks Media Group, Dennis Rodman discussed his early days in LA Lakers and then he talked about his secret relationship with franchise owner Jeanie Buss and how they dated for almost six months
“Jeanie Buss called me. Jeanie said ‘Dennis you want to go out to dinner? ‘I said ‘Yeah why not.’ I’ve known Jeanie since she was in Playboy. So, they put me up in the Ritz Carlton, in the penthouse, and she said ‘You wanna have some drinks? ‘So, we have some drinks. Ofcourse…take it from there. So, I start, this is a true story, I started dating Jeanie Buss. I dated her for six months,” Rodman said.
The man who just entered the franchise and started dating its owner is just possible only in the case of legend Dennis Rodman. Although Rodman said it’s a true story but Jeanie Buss never confirmed her relationship with him.

Rodman said Kobe Bryant use to act like Michael Jordan
Dennis Rodman when entered in the Lakers franchise met the new star of the NBA Kobe Bryant who wanted to become MJ’s apparent and no one other can explain how similar they were in personality and basketball skill better than ‘the Worm’ who spend 3 years with Jordan.
Dennis Rodman stated, “Everyone knew Kobe emulated Michael. ’Cause he act like Michael, talk like Michael. But Kobe was close to Michael when it comes to basketball skill.”
Rodman in the Los Angeles team was not liked by many players. When Coach Phil Jackson gave a break to enjoy and be himself on performing well against the Pistons and the Bulls, it was not appreciated by the other team members. Dennis also shared about his internal conflict with the Lakers players.
He said, “Kobe and Shaq were so envious of me because they [the Lakers] catered to me so much – coming to the game, going out after the game, having parties, doing this, doing that, hotel this…stuff like that – they couldn’t stand me on that damn team, to be honest with you.”
After playing 23 games for the Lakers, Rodman was released by the franchise in the offseason and signed a contract with the Mavericks. But it was clear that he is now in the end stage of his career, he played 12 games with the Mavericks and decided to take retirement from the NBA
