Watch: Jae Crowder sprints to his bench after getting ejected in Lakers vs Suns Game 6
Jae Crowder and LeBron James
The world of NBA is in shock as the defending champions, Los Angeles Lakers have been knocked out of the 2020-21 NBA playoffs via the hands of Phoenix Suns. In addition this is the first time since 1981 that LA Lakers have been knocked out in the first round of the playoff while retaining their championship. To make matters worse, the loss came at Staples Center.
With the series having high rush of adrenaline throughout, players were expected to show their heat. Both Phoenix Suns’ Jae Crowder and Devin Booker have been part of this spoken about heat and at the end of Game 6, none of these two players could control it.
Jae Crowder Ejected: What happened in Lakers vs Suns Game 6
It seemed towards the end, when the outcome was clear, both Crowder and Booker spoke sh*t to the LA Lakers’ players or particularly to Markieff Morris who was evidently seen getting in a verbal banter with Booker. However, the players were separated, while Booker stayed on the court. It was Jae Crowder who sprinted towards his bench knowing that he will be ejected.
It was even more iconic as in earlier game it was LeBron James who mocked Crowder, fetched an offensive foul and then ran towards his bench in a hilarious way. This could potentially be Jae Crowder’s answers. But who can say for sure?
It was Devin Booker who led the Suns with 47 points, out of which 22 came in the first quarter, including six 3-pointers. Apart from Booker, it was Crowder who scored 18 points. While Cameron Johnson and Mikal bridges each scored 10 points.
Whereas for the LA Lakers, it was King James who led the offensive charts, knocking 29 points. While Dennis Schroder scored 20 and KCP added 19 points.
As thing stands, it is the Suns who will face Nuggets in the second round of 2020-21 NBA playoffs.
