“It’s his signature move fr” – Jrue Holiday impresses fans after nailing a circus shot from behind the backboard

Jrue Holiday frequently has to angle the arc of his shot over the top edge of the backboard because of his tendency to make insane shots that end up going out of bounds. But on Wednesday, when Holiday received a pass from Bobby Portis much beneath his own basket, he raised the stakes to a new level by going up and over everything from behind.

“Sometimes it just happens, just like the ones that are semi-behind the backboard, I feel like growing up I’ve just always done it. I’ve had a dad who always talked about trick shots and being able to shoot behind the basket,” Jrue said after nailing the shot.

Soon after making what seems like an impossible basket many fans once again could not control their excitement and expressed it on social media. one fan wrote, “It’s his signature move fr,” another one remarked, “He just does so much right for the bucks, lucky to have him”

The Bucks will remain one of the most difficult teams to play against in the Eastern Conference if Holiday continues to play as well as he did on Wednesday. The team would gain from Khris Middleton’s return, who hasn’t played since Dec.15 due to a knee injury.

Jrue Holiday helps the Bucks defeat the Hawks

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 114-105 on Wednesday night thanks to Jrue Holiday’s 27 points, Brook Lopez’s 20 points, and 12 rebounds. Bobby Portis II had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Giannis Antetokounmpo added seven points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists. Milwaukee has won its last four games.

“We’re resilient,” Jrue Holiday said. “We don’t like to lose. I think close games like that not that we enjoy those moments but we do think they’re teaching moments where can kind of close out games and use all that and everything we did tonight in the future.”

Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP who averages 31.7 points per game this season, had an uncharacteristically low-scoring night with just 7 points, but Budenholzer believes he was focused the entire time, “I thought it was one of Giannis’ best games without scoring,” Budenholzer said.

The Hawks, who were without Trae Young and Clint Capela, overcame a 24-point deficit early in the third quarter to tie the score at 101 with 4:05 to go. After a timeout, Bogdan Bogdanovic’s baseline jumper gave them their first lead. Lopez responded with a corner 3-pointer, and the Bucks went on a 10-0 run to take control and go on to win the game.
