Kendrick Perkins highlights how Steve Kerr’s coaching tactics are EXPOSED with Stephen Curry sidelined

Kendrick Perkins and Steve Kerr

Golden State Warriors window for making it into the playoffs seems to be closing as their star Stephen Curry remains out with a shoulder injury. The Warriors had two of the most embarrassing losses of their season in back-to-back games. In the last two games, they have lost by 68 points combined.

Former NBA champion and NBA analyst on ESPN, Kendrick Perkins slammed Steve Kerr after the two embarrassing losses. The Nets scored 143 points against the Golden State Warriors and that too after Durant played under 30 minutes into the game. Perkins blamed Kerr for the loss and said that the Dubs were not ready to compete. He said, “The Warriors got SMOKED last night by the Knicks and now the Nets beating the brakes off them… at what point is Steve Kerr going to have his team ready to compete!

Perkins’ frustration is understandable and the defending champions went into the history record book for all the wrong reasons. The Nets scored record 91 points over the Dubs in just the first half of the game (3rd most in NBA history). Without Stephen Curry, they had no answer for the Durant-led Brooklyn Nets. Perkins said, “It’s a lot different when you don’t have Steph to bail you out huh?! Don’t mind me tho and Carry on…”

Without Stephen Curry, Warriors’ championship hopes are finished says Kendrick Perkins

The Warriors were 2-7 in their last 9 games and that is not the exact record for a championship-caliber team. With and without Stephen Curry, the defending champs have a horrible 3-16 record on the road, and that speaks a lot about team building. Now that their most prolific scorer is out of the lineup, their scope for competing against a good opponent has really narrowed down.

Kendrick Perkins said that the Warriors’ window for the championship has finally closed after Curry’s injury. According to Perkins, without Curry, the Warriors are finished. “Can they compete for a championship? Are they finished when it comes down to a championship? And the answer is hell yeah they are,” said the former Celtics star.

Before being injured with a partial shoulder dislocation, Curry was having a remarkable season. The former NBA Finals MVP averaged 30 points per game and was shooting over 50 percent from the field. Curry was also shooting over 43 percent from the field. It is impossible to fill the shoes of the greatest shooter in the league. Additionally, the Warriors are also dealing with injury issues as a team.
