“Mike ain’t passing me the ball,” Michael Jordan’s BEST FRIEND would prefer playing with LeBron James than the GOAT
Charles Oakley prefers playing with LeBron James over Michael Jordan, citing the different playing styles of the two NBA legends.

LeBron James and Michael Jordan
Basketball legend Charles Oakley recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing debate over who is the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) in the NBA. Oakley, who played alongside Michael Jordan during his early career, stated that he would prefer to play with LeBron James over Jordan, even though the latter is his best friend.
“They asked me who I’d rather play with, LeBron or Mike. I said LeBron, Mike is my best friend, but I say LeBron. Mike ain’t passing me the ball. He doesn’t care if I get a shot today or tomorrow, but you know, that’s Mike; that’s always going to be him. They’re always going to be a comparison,” said Oakley.
The former New York Knicks star went on to explain his preference using a unique analogy. “They ask me ‘LeBron or Mike?’ I say frosted flakes, cornflakes, Mike, and LeBron. So LeBron got no sugar; Mike got the sugar. I go with LeBron because I was cornflakes. So it’s always going to be a comparison,” he added.
Oakley’s comments highlight the different playing styles of the two NBA legends. Jordan was known for his relentless scoring and competitive nature, which sometimes meant that he was not as focused on passing the ball to his teammates.
This approach may have rubbed some of his teammates the wrong way throughout his career. In contrast, James is known for his selflessness and willingness to involve his teammates in the game, despite being the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

The Endless Debate: LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan for the Title of Basketball’s Greatest of All Time (GOAT)

The debate over who is the greatest basketball player of all time (GOAT) has been a topic of discussion among fans and analysts for decades. Two names that often come up in the GOAT conversation are LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
Jordan, a six-time NBA champion, is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history. He dominated the league during his prime and is remembered for his clutch performances in critical moments. LeBron James, on the other hand, has been a dominant force in the league for over a decade, winning four NBA championships and earning numerous accolades.
Both players have their unique strengths and weaknesses, and the comparison between them is often subjective. Fans and analysts weigh in factors such as individual statistics, championships, impact on the game, and overall skill set to determine who the GOAT is.
While some argue that Jordan’s six championships and impressive career statistics make him the clear GOAT, others argue that LeBron’s all-around game, leadership, and longevity make him a strong contender for the title. Ultimately, the debate will continue as long as basketball is played.
