“Lakers into Top 4 seed,” Shannon Sharpe reveals what Anthony Davis’ MVP-like form does to LeBron James and Co.
Shannon Sharpe and Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis is all over the NBA headlines as he recently balled out against the Washington Wizards and has humbled up all his haters, doubters and critics. AD is finally playing some MVP-calibre basketball and is carrying the Los Angeles Lakers towards the fortunate winning end. The Lakers have finally started running their offensive end through Anthony Davis and things have turned out to be great. So great that even Shannon Sharpe is now riding with them and is a believer.
Recently, the Washington Wizards hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at Capital One Arena. Anthony Davis and the Lakers continued their dominating winning streak and after the Milwaukee Bucks, the new victim was the Wizards team. As the Los Angeles Lakers wrapped it up at 130-119 because AD took great care of the business as he’s the only Laker with back-to-back 40-point games since Kobe Bryant.
In the game, Anthony Davis dropped a 50-point bomb against the helpless and speechless Wizards, since they had no answers to stop the offensive rally of the Los Angeles Lakers. AD got himself 55 points, caught 17 boards, dished out 1 dime and registered 3 highlight-worthy blocks.
LeBron James also came up big on the supporting end as he contributed with 29 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds. Lonnie Walker also contributed with 20 points and Russell Westbrook dished out 15 dimes. But it was the godly efforts of Anthony Davis which bagged the game for the Los Angeles Lakers. After, the dub Shannon Sharpe sent out a shocking tweet for AD and the Lakers via his personal Twitter handle.
In the tweet, Shannon Sharpe wrote: “AD is playing out of his F’ing mind. 53-15 on 21-28 shooting. He’s going to play himself MVP discussion and Lakers into top 4 seed.” Shannon Sharpe is a believer and is back with his support for the Lakers and Davis gets the most credits for it.

Is Shannon Sharpe right with his take on Top 4 seed for Anthony Davis, Lakers?
The Los Angeles Lakers do have the talent and potential to prove Shannon Sharpe’s take right. But it’s too early to claim them as a Top-4 seed in the western conference, where many are hunting for a playoff berth. The Big Three of the Lakers: Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Russell Westbrook is still one of the best trios in league’s history and can step into the contender’s conversation anytime.
Also, if AD and Lakers keep hooping at the same pace they are surely booking a playoff berth for themselves. The road though is tough and long but with the Big Three doing what it’s supposed to do and the front office making all the possible efforts for the franchise to be great again. The Lakers can really get Shannon Sharpe’s take right. As of now, the Hollywood-based team is ranked in the 12th spot with 10 wins and 12 losses.
