In Los Angeles Lakers‘ game, Annika removed her prosthetic leg and drank beer off of it as soon as she appeared on the screen. Videos showing Hutsler triumphantly holding up her prosthetic leg after drinking from it while the audience applauded her were captured and posted on social media in a number of different ways which made her quite famous.

Having served her country just a few days after earning her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University, Annika Hutsler is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Sadly, she would have to leave the service after a Navy doctor diagnosed Hutsler with a stress fracture and was later found that she had a fast-expanding tumor in her foot which had to be amputated.
Soon after, Hutsler, 22, won silver medals in the wheelchair races of 100 and 200 meters as part of the paralympic-style United States Department of Defense Warrior Games. Hutsler then started experimenting with other sports, such as wheelchair rugby and archery.
She also got interested in a number of other sports, such as swimming, volleyball, rock climbing, and much more. Hutsler is also getting attention for her posts on social media as if serving her country, doing well in school, and being a Paralympian weren’t enough already.
Her content is commonly accessible on numerous well-known social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Hutsler has been in marketing for well-known companies including Athleta and Target in addition to Pin-ups For Vets. Even for the renowned fashion label Tommy Hilfiger, she walked the runway.
