Although the Washington Wizards might have emerged victorious in their most recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA 2021-22 Season yet the scenario seemed different until Karl Athony Towns sustained an injury in the clash. With 34 points and 10 rebounds in over 32 minutes, Towns seemed determined to pull off a victory on the road against Wizards in-front of their fans despite the heroics of Montrezl Harrell.
To those who are not aware, Montrezl Harrell managed to lead the scooting charts for Washington in the Timberwolves vs Wizards showdown, coming off the bench and scoring 27 points. Having said that, talking about Karl Anthony Towns injury in the particular clash, hoop fans seemed very concerned as the marquee shooter did seem to be troubled after enduring a scary fall while holding the play and putting the pressure onto the opposition.

Talking about the particular incident, late in the fourth quarter of the game, Karl Anthony Towns drove to the basket and dunked the ball. However, he fell awkwardly after losing his grip on the rim, causing him to crash onto the floor back first. According to Dane Moore of BMTN, the Minnesota Timberwolves big man laid down on the bench after the incident before going to the locker room.
However, In the latest update from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, however, the Timberwolves confirmed that x-rays on his back were negative. Karl-Anthony Towns is likely to get more tests to determine the extent of his injury or if there is any issue at all, but by the looks of it, he has escaped a scary issue.
