Concussions happen all the time,” Favre stated. “You get tackled and your head hits the turf, you see flashes of light or ringing in your ears but you’re able to play, that’s a concussion.” Favre went on to add that he suffered thousands of concussions in his career but was still able to play for a long time.

Every time my head hit the turf, there was ringing or stars going, flash bulbs, but I was still able to play,” he added. He was indeed a force to reckon with on the field and will always remain a star of the game. As far as his controversies are concerned, some tarnished his image in the past and a few still haven’t reached a conclusion.

Only time will tell what new twist in the welfare money scandal will come out in the open in the future. As of now, Brett is indeed in troubled waters.
