Patrick Mahomes is widely regarded as the best quarterback in football right now. The two-time Super Bowl winner has all the accolades to back that up. He is a two-time Super Bowl MVP and has won a couple of league MVPs as well. He is on pace to have a storied career with the Kansas City Chiefs as they look to defend their Super Bowl title this season.

However, the superstar quarterback struggled against the Green Bay Packers in his first-ever visit to Lambeau Field. The Packers defeated the Chiefs in their Week 13 matchup on Sunday, 27-19.

Mahomes struggled in the cold Green Bay weather and finished with 210 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Jason Brown, the ‘Last Chance U’ coach, recently slammed Mahomes and claimed that he is “nothing” without the Chiefs’ brilliant HC Andy Reid.

Mahomes, I've seen him before. I've seen John Elway, bro. Mahomes couldn't hold John Elway's f****** left nut in the cold winter. I'm not hating on Mahomes, I'm telling you the truth about Mahomes.
Brown said during an appearance on a podcast

He added:

Without Andy Reid, Mahomes is nothing. Put him in Chicago, how good is Mahomes? I don't think he'd be good at all. He is in a gimmicky system that is devised to help him succeed.

Mahomes this season has racked up 3,127 yards, 22 TDs, and 10 interceptions. He has led the Chiefs to an 8-4 record and will look to win as many games as possible to get a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes doesn’t have a problem with the late missed PI call during the Chiefs-Packers game

The Kansas City Chiefs vs. Green Bay Packers game on Sunday Night Football had a few controversial missed calls late in the game. One in particular created a lot of buzz after the game.

The refs missed a blatant pass interference call on the Packers towards the end of the game, which led to Green Bay winning the game. Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes was asked about it after the game, and the signal-caller did not have a problem with the call.

Mahomes said:

It is what it is, man. Obviously, the guy was probably a little early, but at the end of the game they’re letting guys play. I’m kind of about that. I’d rather you let the guys play and let the guys win it on the field.

He further added:

It’s a hard job, man. When we’re in that situation, I can’t be wanting a flag. I have to go out there and win the game myself and with the rest of my teammates.

The Chiefs have lost three of their last five games. They are one game behind the Baltimore Ravens and the Miami Dolphins in the AFC. Both of these teams are 9-3 this season, and the Chiefs have a lot of work to do to catch them, with only five games to go in the season.
