“Moth*rf*ckers throwing you alley oops,” DeMarcus Lawrence SAVAGELY responds to Dallas Cowboys’ underdogs status after victory against the Rams
The Dallas Cowboys continued their dream run in the NFL as they overcame the defending Super Bowl champions, Los Angeles Rams by a 22-10 margin. The Cowboys have now picked up four successive wins and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence had a huge role to play in this particular victory against the Rams.
Often victories can be solely attributed to a quarterback performing well, however, in this case it was simply because of the Cowboys defense, especially DeMarcus Lawrence, who opened the touchdown spree for his franchise.
DeMarcus Lawrence was one of the key architects of the victory against the Rams
The 30-year-old veteran made a 19-yard pass for a touchdown early on in the game, setting the tone for the Cowboys perfectly well for an exceptional evening.
However, despite the victory and their winning run, the Cowboys have been listed once again as an underdog for their Week-6 fixture against the Philadelphia Eagles. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Eagles have been listed as 5.5 point favourites against the Cowboys, contrary to what recent form might suggest.
This has not gone down well with the Cowboys players and head coach alike, and DeMarcus Lawrence called it out savagely.
“Sometimes you wish you could bet in Vegas. When motherf***ers throwing you alley oops like this, you don’t want to pass on it,” DeMarcus Lawrence said after the game according to Dallas Cowboys insider, David Helman.
Even head coach Mike McCarthy said, “We’re nobody’s underdog,” in response to a question from a reporter on being listed as an underdog yet again.
