“Feels like we got it down,” Jets WR Corey Davis and QB Zach Wilson are fired up for the rest of the season as they finally achieved perfect chemistry

The relationship between the QB and WR is one of the most integral ones on the field. So it’s a no-brainer that it’s absolutely necessary to maintain good chemistry between the players playing these two positions.

Jets QB Zach Wilson and WR Corey Davis have struggled a lot this season to build some chemistry, but it seems like they have finally managed to do it.

In the second half of the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the duo was in complete sync and ran a riot through the Steeler’s defence. Corey Davis completed the game with 5 catches for 74 yards. Though this is not a great number, to consider that all the catches came after the second half is an impressive feat coming from Wilson and Davis.

“Feels like we got it down,” Corey Davis told The Post on Friday. “He did a great job of putting the ball where it needed to be.” The Jets were ultimately victorious against the Steelers in a tight game, thanks to the collaboration by Zach Wilson and Corey Davis.

Zach Wilson looks like a different player now as he has successfully recovered from his injury and is finally living up to the hype surrounding him prior to the season commencement.

Zach Wilson impressed everyone with his debut of the season by making one great play after another. “That was an ugly win, but that was some of the most fun I’ve had playing football,” Zach Wilson said Sunday after a 24-20 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.

Wilson’s debut impressed everyone this season, including the Jets HC Robert Saleh, who said, “I thought he played a good game for his first game back,” “The young man doesn’t flinch.”

The New York Jets have raised their expectations bar for the fans after the return of their star QB. Corey Davis and Wilson have also started building great chemistry on the field, resulting in a win for them.

“It’s different, man, [with Wilson],” Corey Davis said. “He can keep it alive, he can extend plays with his legs. He has great talent, great arm strength. Glad to have him back.”

The Jets will have to keep up this performance when they face the formidable Miami Dolphins in their next match of the NFL season. Though the Dolphins are without their star QB Tua Tagovailoa due to injury, they can still pose a considerable threat to the Jets.
