Odell Beckham Jr. is still looking for a team after recovering from his ACL injury that he picked up a year ago. It’s quite surprising that a player of his caliber and skill is still idle in the free agency market.

However, the main reason for this could be that the former Rams WR has overestimated his value and maybe is asking for more than the teams are willing to pay for. Odell is one of the best WRs in the free agency market currently and probably deserves the money he is asking for.

Although, the primary concern for the teams is his injury scare. Many analysts believe that OBJ is injury prone and it is highly likely that he’ll encounter the same injury of he exerts himself too much.

It is reported from various sources that the 30-year old WR is looking for a contract around $20 million. On the other hand, the amount that he’s getting from the teams is around $4 million.

The Super Bowl winner was devastated by the news and decided to hit back at the teams with a savage tweet. “I’m just so confused where the quote is from me tht said I want 20…..😭🙄all I’m sayin is 4 AINT enough,” Beckham tweeted in retaliation.

Odell denied all the allegations that he is demanding around $20 million. However, he also didn’t fail to say that $4 million is a bleak amount from his standards.

Odell Beckham Jr. has reportedly asked for a massive $20 million contract. However, many team can’t afford to pay that barring a few. The prolific WR recently trained in front of 12 teams in a private training session and has also been in conversation with many of them.

The New York Jets look like strong contenders to land the WR. The Jets are looking to rebuild their team around the legendary QB Aaron Rodgers who is strongly linked with the team.

They have already signed WR Allen Lazard from the Packers, the other player that they have shown interest in is Odell Beckham Jr. Both of these players have been suggested by Rodgers and the Jets will likely land both of them.

However, it’s still uncertain if they will pay $20 million for his signature. Maybe both the parties will have to find a middle ground and decide on a number that works for both of them.
