Tom Brady had the worst season of his life this year and unretirement didn’t suit the 45-year-old QB well. Brady barely qualified for the playoffs with a losing record and fell victim to the first team in Dallas Cowboys.

The Bucs QB got divorced during the season and even lost 15 lbs due to the stress and pressure brought by it. Following the miserable loss to the Cowboys, there were rumors of Brady retiring again. However, there was no confirmation regarding it.

Brady’s former teammate Rob Ninkovich decided to get something out of the legendary QB and dropped him a text. Ninkovich works as an analyst for ESPN and tried to investigate the future of Brady. However, that didn’t turn out well for him.

“I’ve been trying to investigate that… I’ve been trying to get some info out of that and I’m not getting anywhere with that,” Ninkovich said on ESPN. “And then I tried to be nice and just you know, hit up a friend and be like, ‘Hey man, great season. I hope you’re recovering… you finished well, you still got it.”

The Bucs QB was certainly not in the mood to speak to his former teammate and he replied by saying, “Not according to your hard-hitting analysis.” Brady certainly doesn’t forget criticism, and this was a subtle dig at his former teammate, who the legendary QB has won 2 Super Bowls with.

Brady has created a great legacy in the sport and will be regarded as the greatest of all time, irrespective of his decision to play or not to play. The QB is set to be a free agent.

Tom Brady has stated his desire to play for more amidst interest from various teams like the Raiders, Dolphins, and even the 49ers. However, the 45-year-old recently spoke about the same on the Let’s Go podcast and stated that he’s taking things ‘one day at a time’.

TB12 has done everything there is to be done in the sport. He has won 7 Super Bowl rings, making him the most celebrated NFL player. Therefore, even if he wishes to retire, it won’t have any effect on his legacy, which he has created with complete passion and determination.

With Tom Brady currently thinking carefully about his next step, the NFL playoffs are still on with the last 4 teams left to battle it out for the formidable Lombardi Trophy.
