Roman Reigns called for an acknowledgement ceremony on this week’s Raw after beating Jacob Fatu on Saturday at Backlash. ‘The OTC’ ran into Adam Pearce in the beginning of the show, where the Raw GM informed Reigns that he was thinking of firing Fatu for crossing his line at Backlash.

‘The Tribal Chief’ said that since he was the one who signed off on his arrival in WWE, he’s going to be the one that takes him out. Reigns engaged in a backstage segment with Jimmy Uso later on wherein ‘Big Jim’ thought it’d be better if they moved past Fatu and left him alone.

The world champ wasn’t willing to buy it, and he instead stressed the need to regain order within his family, which could only happen if Fatu acknowledged Reigns. Jey Uso was waiting in the parking lot the entire evening to catch Jacob the moment he pulled up to the arena in Knoxville.

‘The Yeet Master’ stood there in order to talk some sense into ‘The Samoan Werewolf’. In the main event of Raw, Roman Reigns walked out to the ring alongside Jimmy Uso. Just as the Tennessee crowd acknowledged Reigns right on cue, the cameras panned to backstage, where Fatu had arrived and Jey was pleading with him to not go out and confront Reigns.

The former enforcer of Solo Sikoa laid out Uso in the gorilla position before heading out. Fatu also got Jimmy out of the way by catching him with a right jab. And then there was no one stopping the ‘Samoan Werewolf’ from going toe-to-toe with the ‘Tribal Chief’. They started exchanging haymakers before Fatu wiped Reigns to the floor at ringside.

Reigns then caught Fatu with a Superman Punch while the 34-year-old was going for a suicide dive on the champ. ‘The Head of the Table’ brought out a steel chair and cracked it across Jacob Fatu‘s back a number of times and was simultaneously yelling at Fatu to acknowledge him. Reigns looked to capitalize on a softened-up Fatu, and he went for the spear.

‘The Samoan Werewolf’ thwarted it off with a superkick and then came in with the Tongan Death Grip. Fatu even powerbombed Reigns through the commentary desk moments after nailing the suicide dive on him. The former US Champion would continue applying the Tongan Death Grip on a banged-up Reigns, with Adam Pearce and other officials trying to separate the two.

‘The Samoan Werewolf’ finally let Reigns go after having done enough damage. Fatu went into the ring and licked the world heavyweight title belt to make his intentions about chasing it perfectly clear. It appeared as if he were exiting but snapped and ran back over to hip-attack Roman Reigns and The Usos through the barricade. Raw went off air with Fatu sporting a menacing look and the crowd behind him.

WWE adds new dates to Roman Reigns’ June 2026 schedule

After much discourse around his scrapped WWE TV appearances in June, Roman Reigns is now confirmed to be working three Raw tapings in the said month. WWE has officially confirmed the former Bloodline boss for Raw after Clash in Italy. He would then have a week off to be back for the 6/15 Raw in Baltimore, followed by Raw after Night of Champions in Atlantic City.

Reigns will notably miss two overseas stops in London and Paris, which would be a bummer for the international fans that were hoping to catch ‘The OTC’ live in their cities. Roman Reigns is officially set for Clash in Italy, and it’s not unfathomable to assume that he’d be taking on Jacob Fatu in a rematch for the world title.

But given how chaotic things have gotten between these two, WWE is expected to add a stipulation to accentuate the gravity of this feud. ‘The Tribal Chief’ will be there next week on Raw in Greensboro. It’d be interesting to see how he’d respond after getting destroyed by his cousin this Monday.
