Amanda Nunes is a Brazilian fighter who holds the UFC women’s Featherweight championship. She is currently at the top of women’s pound-for-pound ranking in the promotion. Nunes also is a gold medalist in the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu championship (2008) and World Jiu-jitsu Championship (2009)
Nunes, who is widely regarded as the greatest female mixed martial artist of all time, is the first female to win the UFC championship in two weight classes at the same time, joining the likes of Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier. She is also the first and only UFC champion to defend both of her titles simultaneously.
