In a recent interview with Ubitennis, following Jainik Sinner’s loss against Carlos Alcaraz at the Indian Wells 2023, Vagnazzi talked about Alcaraz’s and Sinner’s gameplay and the Sinner – Alcaraz matchup. Vagnazzi did not fall short of praises for the World No.1 calling him a “complete” player. He called Alcaraz a “phenomenon” and added that “At 19 no one played like that, not even those we call sacred monsters like Djokovic, Rafa, or Federer.

No one had the completeness that he has at 19.” Vagnozzi, who is an astute observer of the game, points to Alcaraz’s incredible versatility on the court as evidence. Already at just 15 years old, the young Spaniard demonstrated an impressive ability to execute drop shots, approach the net, and confidently serve and volley.

Vagnazzi further said that Alcaraz has been showing us this stellar gameplay of his since he was 15 – be it his drop shots, strong service, or his volleys at the net. That is why, even though the Spaniard is two years younger than Sinner, Vagnazzi admitted that he is a more complete player than the latter.

When asked about Sinner’s gameplay and training, Vagnazzi said that he needs a bit more time to mature and develop as a player. Vagnazzi believes that in “2-3 years” Sinner would be stronger than he is now which will benefit his playstyle a lot.

As expected, Questions were being raised by the fans regarding Sinner’s service games, but Vagnazzi backed the Italian by saying that his service gameplay is definitely improving with time. As per statistics, Sinner’s “direct points with service, winning aces and services, are growing”. While Vagnazzi believes that Sinner reaching the semi-finals of ATP events is an amazing feat and a step in the right direction, winning these events is what they are working towards.

Recent developments in Tennis suggest that once the likes of Rafel Nadal and Novak Djokovic retire, it will be the era of youngsters like Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Lorenzo Musseti etc. Proof of this change being happening sooner rather than later can be seen on almost all betting platforms and online casinos as well, with people going for players like them for a longer run in tournaments, and it has been fruitful for them to say the least. One of these platforms are casinos.com, which is highly rated by its users for its on-time latest updates about the industry.

Jannik Sinner‘s gameplay is defined by his robust forehand and backhand, along with his agility and proficiency in swiftly maneuvering around the court. He displays exceptional skill in striking winners from the baseline and possesses a natural ability to predict his opponent’s shots and deliver potent counterattacks. Sinner’s remarkable footwork and aptitude for quickly altering his direction on the court enables him to effectively cover a considerable amount of ground, even when faced with challenging shots.

Having already won a title (2023 Open Sud de France)  this season and an ongoing 16-4 winning record, Sinner appears to be in incredible form. However, cracking the Top 10 ATP Rankings is no easy task. In order to make the top 10, the 21-year-old will have to continue to play at this level and get good results in the upcoming ATP tournaments. With 3 Grand Slams and many ATP events lined up this season, the only time would tell how Sinner would fare at these tournaments.

In the past, Sinner has been ranked as high as World No.9 (2021.11.01) and at the moment, with 2925 points and World No.11 rank, he is 50 points behind Taylor Fritz, World No.10.
