World No 1 Iga Swiatek has been one of the consistent performers as she went to clinch two Grand Slam singles titles in the year. She created history by becoming the fourth player in the Open Era to maintain her claim as the No. 1 for 30 weeks. Staying true to her nature, she participated in the Noble Box tradition by an organization called Szlachetnia Paczka for the third time.

She had claimed the No 1 spot after the sudden retirement of the former Australian player Ashleigh Barty. She achieved another feat by becoming the second player to cross 11,000 ranking points in the WTA rankings after Serena Williams in 2013. She was the dominant player in most of the tournaments on the WTA Tour, especially during the clay season where she 18-match winning streak until her loss at the Poland Open.

The Polish player sent over presents to help the family where the mother Adrianna is raising her two daughters, Monika and Bartek alone after she lost her husband. She admitted that since she won’t be present with her family during Christmas, she made sure to make the family happy with her gesture. Swiatek even urged others to do the same if they can afford to bring a smile to someone’s face since she emphasized that all families included in the program will receive help.
