Former World No. 1 Martina Navratilova has been quite vocal about issues around the world, especially the ones in the USA. A strong Democrat, Navratilova does not shy from criticising any move from any of the Republican leaders or supporters in order to advertise the Democrats.

Due to this, the former World No. 1 often finds herself in big Twitter debates on the political agenda and stories. As mighty as her strokes, Navratilova’s tweets are also hard-hitting and powerful and like her stellar defence on the court, she brings the same on her social media handle as well.

Navratilova often finds herself speaking against former American President Donald Trump, who has been a Republican for the majority of his life although he has had small stints with the Democrats and Reform as well. Trump was recently seen at the LIV Golf event and it led to his criticism by Navratilova.

Trump and a group of his advisors were seen on the golf course with neither of the men holding any Golf equipment or even having a caddy nearby which could indicate that the group of men were indeed playing and not ‘conspiring’ anything as per the belief of many.

With the entire group consisting of white men, Navratilova took a cheeky dig saying, “And what a diverse group of individuals this is :)” indicating the absence of any man of colour present along with Trump who has been accused of being racist on numerous occasions.

Martina received quite a lot of replies from the fans supporting her tweet and making other mocking statements against Trump with other ‘theories’ also floating in the reply section of her tweet.
