Navratilova has been one of the many Americans to consistently plead with the Joe Biden-led government for stricter laws on gun control. While she spoke about the same during the reign of Donald Trump as well but nothing concrete has been decided by Washington DC that could control the situation.

With easy access to guns, incidents of mass shootings are quite recurring in the region. Navratilova had condemned the shootings of last week as well where in two separate incidents, 4 people had died while a person went on a shooting spree at a Pride Club. The tennis pro has been quite vocal about many issues and this is one of those where she never misses the chance to hope for a better solution.

Navratilova uses her Twitter profile which has more than 424K followers to inform people about her opinions. She is quite woke in issues and unlike others, does not keep quiet on pressing issues such as these.

She has raised her voice for many issues in the past. She had called out Elon Musk and Kanye West for their hypocrisy and antisemitic remarks respectively. She has also criticized Donald Trump from time to time for his public statements.
