Former American legend Martina Navratilova has inspired millions of people in her career of almost four decades. Apart from her involvement in tennis, she has actively participated in various political debates and discussions. This time, she bashed the US former President Donald Trump for secretly helping China.
Even after facing constant criticism for her harsh words, she never pays any heed to them. She believes in preaching what she believes in. The former American legend has always advocated for gender equality and stood up for equal rights for LGBTQ+ community individuals. She has always believed in exercising the power of freedom of speech which she rightly does often through her social media posts.
There have been few reports that claim that Trump has a secret account in China. Through the account, he helps China by offering a huge amount of money that is unknown to everyone. Further conclusions state that the 45th President is paying taxes in China in huge amounts which is comparatively higher than what he does for America. Navratilova stated that it isn’t surprising for her in the latest findings since she has often disapproved of his actions.
The 18-time Grand Slam champion took to her Twitter account to share her opinions. She substantiated her feelings by saying, “Not surprised.“

This isn’t the first time, she has vocalized against Trump and his government. She called him a ‘dictator’ as she slammed Trump for his offensive principles and stooping so low in attacking people to make his amends met. Trump’s Twitter account had been removed due to his obnoxious and misogynist remarks. But got revoked after Elon Musk became the owner of the micro-blogging site.
Donald Trump’s Twitter account was reinstated by Elon Musk due to an online poll. Majority of the people went on to vote ‘Yes’ for revival while Martina Navratilova disagreed with the poll. Navratilova expressed her disgust and condemn the actions. He called him pathetic while claiming that he tried to overthrow the election. She had even indirectly bashed the former US President and his people who tried different ways to influence the 2020 US election results.
The former Australian Open champion had even bashed some Republican Senators for voting against the advancement of the Respect for Marriage Act under federal law. She got angry with the decision since they demanded re-election in the year 2024. She has never denied sexual orientation which had been quite a shocker for many. The former Wimbledon champion came out to admit to being a lesbian herself.
