Croatian former tennis player Nikola Pilic has been a true fan of the brand of tennis that Novak Djokovic plays. But Pilic goit furious when one of the German magazines published a picture of his longtime rival Roger Federer on the front page the very next day that Djokovic lifted his seventh ATP Finals title.

Pilic felt that Federer had no right to be on that front page that very day when hours earlier the Serbian had made history by beating Jannik Sinner in the finals. Pilic also bashed the Western media for their lack of respect towards the Serbian who had already put an end to the GOAT debate long ago. Pilic said:

The Western press belittles Novak's every success and they don't want to accept that he is the GOAT, and that is already a finished story.
Today I received a German magazine, and on the cover is Federer in a tuxedo. What is Federer doing on the front page the day after the tournament in Turin?"

Pilic feels that Federer has achieved a lot of success and recognition for his golden and illustrious career saying that it is a thing of the past now. The media are not acting correctly towards Djokovic despite his tremendous performance and the number of accolades in recent times, Pilic said.

Well, you can win four Slams and Olympic gold. I have always the highest ambitions and goals. That's not going to be different for the next year, that's for sure
