The WTA Finals 2021 will commence from the 10th of November. This year will mark the 50th edition of the year-end tournament that features the top 8 WTA players.
With the 2020 edition being cancelled, 2019’s winner Ashleigh Barty is the defending champion. However, Barty, who had spent 8 months away from home, decided to call it quits on the season and withdrew from the tournament. The vacancy that was created by her withdrawal was filled by Anett Kontaveit.

Group B consists of 2nd seeded Barbora Krejcikova, 3rd seeded Karolina Pliskova, 6th seeded Garbine Muguruza and 8th seeded Anett Kontaveit.
