The WTA Finals 2021 will commence from the 10th of November. This year will mark the 50th edition of the year-end tournament that features the top 8 WTA players.

With the 2020 edition being cancelled, 2019’s winner Ashleigh Barty is the defending champion. However, Barty, who had spent 8 months away from home, decided to call it quits on the season and withdrew from the tournament. The vacancy that was created by her withdrawal was filled by Anett Kontaveit.
