Fans were in total dismay when the referee counted to three in the main event of WrestleMania XL. The majority of fans found it hard to believe that Roman Reigns‘ title reign would ever come to an end. However, even the sun sets at the end of the day, and so did the time for The Tribal Chief. Recently, the Head of the Table broke his silence after losing, to which even The Rock couldn’t help but react.
The Needle Mover posted a video of himself working out at the gym. He wrote an interesting caption, which was his reaction to the defeat. The People’s Champion commented on that post with an intriguing reply. He said that he knew the gym in which the Tribal Chief was training and expressed his excitement to see him back in WWE.

This reply by The Rock generated a lot of engagement on social media, as fans were surprised with the reaction from ‘The Final Boss’. It led to many fans speculating that maybe Roman Reigns and the Great One are still in contact and must be planning something in the future. Besides, The Brahma Bull was also on Raw this week, where he had an interaction with Cody Rhodes, hinting at a future clash.
This response by the Final Boss has certainly revitalized the fanbase once again. It is going to be interesting to see what this means in the long term with The Bloodline storyline. Furthermore, with Roman Reigns not having the Undisputed title anymore, he might have to move on to other paths as well with his character.
Is WWE finally moving towards The Rock vs. Roman Reigns?
The Rock and Roman Reigns are two of the biggest wrestling stars on the planet. They share the same Bloodline roots and have a rich history together. As such, the potential clash has always been one of the dream matches for the WWE Universe. However, even after heavy rumors of it being at WrestleMania 39 and WrestleMania XL, it was nixed both times at the last moment. Now, it feels like WWE is moving towards finally pulling the trigger.
After Reigns’ loss, it is possible that WWE might introduce an angle of animosity between the two top guys of The Bloodline. Another possibility is that, upon the return of the Head of the Table, he blames The Brahma Bull for the fall of his empire. It might lead to another possible civil war within the faction.
Besides, next year’s WrestleMania is the perfect place for this dream match. It is going to be interesting to see how WWE is going to figure out how to execute this massive storyline. The Rock has a few years of wrestling left in him. Therefore, having this match as soon as possible would be an ecstatic opportunity for the promotion.
