UFC fighter who wanted Logan Paul’s sponsorship, sighs in relief as another PRIME athlete faces devastating defeat

For the longest time, Joaquin Buckley wanted a sponsorship from Logan Paul and KSI‘s PRIME. However, as every fighter PRIME has ever sponsored has been dropping left and right, the UFC welterweight made a statement that pointed otherwise. Buckley recently posted a tweet on X thanking God that he did not get the PRIME sponsorship.

Joaquin Buckley recently retweeted a post on X. The post highlighted this ‘PRIME Curse’ for athletes who have lost their recent fights since signing with PRIME. Buckley retweeted this and wrote in the caption:

After securing a knockout victory over Andre Fialho, Buckley had directly addressed Paul during his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. He requested a sponsorship from Paul and the YouTuber had even acknowledged Buckley’s appeal. This sparked further anticipation regarding a potential collaboration between the two which in the end never happened.

Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski were the first in the UFC to be sponsored by PRIME. Adesanya lost his title to Sean Strickland and went on a hiatus. Meanwhile, Volkanovski went on a losing streak ultimately losing his featherweight title to Ilia Topuria. Devin Haney who had recently signed a deal with PRIME lost by unanimous decision to Ryan Garcia in their latest bout. He did not lose his WBC title because Garcia missed weight.

The internet remembers the intense trolling during the buildup of Logan Paul and Dillon Danis’ boxing match. Paul defeated Danis in the boxing ring, though via disqualification. However, Danis had already done enough damage to Paul’s reputation.

Well, the Conor McGregor compatriot strikes again, pointing out the viral PRIME Curse that everyone is talking about. Danis posted a picture on his X account. It is a collage of Devin Haney, Alexander Volkanovski, and Israel Adesanya promoting PRIME and snapshots of their losing moments. There is also a collage of Logan Paul holding PRIME and an AI-generated image targeting Paul as he is anticipating his first child with his fiancee Nina Agdal.

And on top was written ‘PRIME Curse’ in big bold letters. Logan Paul has not addressed this particular curse yet. However, given how superstitious fighters can be will this new Curse affect PRIME as a company? Only time will tell.
