He engages with his guest in a highly professional manner. However, in an episode with Joey Diaz, a story prevented Rogan from keeping a straight face.

Joe Rogan had a lot of moments when he was shocked by the true stories of his guests. Sometimes he will use his own story to compare how things can be worse for the people in a particular scenario. However, Diaz told a story where Rogan could not attempt a comparison. Joey Diaz revealed the day when he farted so severely that the school bus teachers and students could not breathe.

Diaz said, “On the way home we got on the bus and while we were waiting there my stomach started hurting and I said Jesus Christ I don’t know if I’m gonna sh*t myself or fart let me just take a chance.” Everyone on the bus wanted to get out of it and run for a breath of fresh air. Diaz absolutely ruined people’s day with his fart.

Joey Diaz continued, “Then You know the school buses people started running to the windows right ? To swing down the bus windows. But here’s what’s got better I fart it again and the teachers were going oh my God he’s changing flavors and the worst thing was the cheerleaders were crying.” Rogan could not keep a straight face on the podcast episode after listening to the story. He kept on laughing till his assistant came up with a change of topic.
