“Against a boxer, you couldn’t do that”- Micheal Bisping reveals why Francis Ngannou may not fare well in boxing

All eyes are on UFC 270 taking place in the Honda Center in California on Jan 22nd with the main event being headlined by a heavyweight championship match with Francis Ngannou, the current heavyweight champion taking on former gym partner and contender Ciryl Gane.
Ciryl looks all set working hard at camp for his upcoming bout but Ngannou has been the headliner for anything but his title defense.
Recently he’s had a contract dispute with the management of the UFC saying that he deserves more than what is being offered in his new contract and also has had made it known that he wants to take on the undefeated Tyson Fury in a boxing match.
Michael Bisping, former middleweight fighter and champion put up a video on his YouTube channel saying that with everyone being highly anticipated and excited for UFC 270, the French-Cameroonian seems to be spending more energy talking about a boxing match with Tyson Fury.
He even said that Ngannou would find it difficult to land shots on a proven boxer like Fury.
“When you look at Francis Ngannou, he is absolutely terrifying, and when you see him swinging and charging forward and swinging the way that he does, I mean you do not want to be in the way of those shots. The man is absolutely terrifying and hits ridiculously hard.”
“However, against a boxer, you couldn’t do that, because when he swings, he leaves a lot of openings. Like hey listen if he catches him, God bless because you’re f***ed. You know and there’s no reason why he couldn’t knock out these boxers, but he’d have to catch them first and I don’t know if he could.”
Michael Bisping says Ngannou has enough potential to become like Mike Tyson
Michael Bisping spoke about his admiration of Francis Ngannou saying that he was a big fan of ‘The Predator’.
“I’m a huge fan of Francis Ngannou. I love what he brings to the table. I love the backstory. I love the adversity that he’s been through. I love the story. You could make a movie of this man’s life one day. You really could. What everything that he’s been through to get to this point, to be at the top of the mountain, to be the heavyweight champion of the world. Man wouldn’t that be something.”
Bisping isn’t the only one to say that a movie could be made out of Ngannou’s life as even Chael Sonnen the former UFC middleweight fighter and currently, a UFC analyst said on his YouTube channel, Beyond the Fight that Ngannou’s life deserves a motion picture.
Bisping while talking about his admiration of Ngannou said that he had massive potential to be like Mike Tyson.
“I really am a huge fan of this guy. Number one, because just the way he looks. You know what I mean. He’s a big, strong, he’s chiselled. I remember when DC was saying when he beats Stipe Miocic, he said ‘this guy is going to have massive crossover potential, it could be a massive mainstream star’, kind of like Mike Tyson back in the day because that’s what he has. That’s what he brings to the table.”
However, Bisping did say that Ngannou needs to watch out for Ciryl Gane as he looks to be distracted by his contract disputes and Tyson Fury.
