Interestingly, Bo Nickal has met former US President Donald Trump on multiple occasions. After Trump’s visit to the Iowa State Fair, he returned to New Jersey to participate in his Bedminster golf course’s final day of LIV Golf. There, he engaged in discussions with Nickal. The duo were seen walking along the golf course together. Meanwhile, Bo Nickal shared some intriguing details about their interaction during an interview with the Overdogs Podcast.

In this candid interview, Bo Nickal admitted feeling uneasy during their walk. This was primarily due to concerns about a potential security threat to Donald Trump. He mentioned how he kept a watchful eye on their surroundings while also acknowledging the Secret Service’s superior capabilities. However, he also revealed his readiness to step in if the situation demanded, saying, “If somebody rolls up with like bad intentions, I’m gonna knock them out cold…”

Bo Nickal is a multiple-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion. As such, he does not approve of Khamzat Chimaev’s style of wrestling and expresses his reservations about it. “It’s trash,” Nickal said. “I wouldn’t even say mid.”

Nickal boasts an unblemished five wins and 0 losses, while Chimaev runs with a 12-win undefeated streak. Khamzat Chimaev is returning to the middleweight division, where he will square off against Paulo Costa at UFC 294. The fight is scheduled for October at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena.

Nickal, while leaning towards Chimaev as the victor, has legitimate concerns about how Chimaev will cope with Costa’s imposing size. Nickal believes Chimaev might find himself outmatched by Costa, who has a significant weight advantage. “We’ll see how he does,” Nickal said. “… Costa is a different story, I’m going to watch the fight, so we’ll see how he does.”
