It takes some courage to try and rob one of the biggest superstars in the world. Conor McGregor’s pub in Dublin, Ireland gets burgled in the middle of the night but the police luckily get hold of the two robbers.
Conor McGregor owns a number of pubs in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland. The Irish superstar has seen great heights in the sport and is undoubtedly the biggest star the world of mixed martial arts has ever seen. The fighter has translated his success to the world of business too with several ‘Proper’ investments. Not only does the Irishman have his own line of whiskey, but he also is the owner of a handful of pubs in Dublin.
Recently two men have been arrested and found guilty of attempting to rob the Marble Arch Pub that is owned by McGregor. The police heard Jason Paget and Charles Darcy attempting to break open the cash register at the pub around 3 in the morning. The two robbers gave away their attack on the pub by leaving their car and running outside the fighter’s pub. The police who heard noises from the inside of the pub and also the pub’s alarm referred to the burglary attempt as “unsophisticated”.

The Marble Arch Pub that was recently broken into by two men is actually a pub that hits very close to home for McGregor. This pub was a very special one for the Irishman as he used to visit this place quite often when he was a teenager. The fighter after great success in his life and after ranking high on the Forbes’ list of wealthiest athletes, bought the pub.
This pub is also infamous for Conor McGregor’s notable run-ins with the law. The fighter was caught punching a 50-year-old man at the very pub for turning down a taste of McGregor’s Proper 12 Whiskey. The fighter faced huge backlash for this incident. Conor had to pay a fine of 1,000 pounds. McGregor has been in trouble with the law several times in the country of Ireland after becoming famous.
The Irishman is currently working to return from the injury that he faced during the Dustin Poirier fight at UFC 264. It has been more than a year since the fans got to see Conor in the UFC octagon.
