Every once in a while, Dana White does something so well-intentioned that it takes the MMA world by storm – such was the case recently as well, which shall be revealed in this article.

Dana White just posted a touching tribute to a 16-year-old who just lost his life to what seems like a terminal diagnosis. In what was a heartbreaking revelation, Dana White disclosed via tweets that the young fan, Michael, who was a die-hard UFC fan, had started a GoFundMe Campaign for himself to go see UFC 279 in Las Vegas.

The UFC then sponsored Michael’s trip to Las Vegas to enable him to watch the big PPV headlined by Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson. His tweet read, “I met Michael at UFC 279 his friends and family put together a “Go Fund Me” to get him to UFC to meet me and it was brought to my attention from an old friend of mine. We jumped on it and got him there. This kid was SO AWESOME I immediately loved him…

Having surely witnessed what a nice human Michael was, Dana White also invited him to UFC 281 at MSG in NYC, and got him tickets next to the great Mike Tyson, without the latter knowing. White’s tweet best describes the situation – “He was such an amazing kid I invited him to UFC 281 in NYC. His parents said he was so pumped all he cared about was getting to NYC for this event. I sat him right behind Mike Tyson and I f*ckin love u @MikeTyson!!!
