Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis returns to the octagon from his loss to Tai Tuivasa at UFC 271 at the beginning of 2022. Lewis is determined to come back from his loss and get back in the win column. The heavyweight fighter is matched up against Russian prospect, Sergei Pavlovich. Derrick’s opponent for UFC 277 is 15-1 in his professional career.

Derrick is a veteran of the game with the most knockouts in the history of the promotion. Derrick has only one motive when he comes into a fight and it is to put his rival to sleep inside the octagon. Lewis also funnily revealed that he knew nothing about his opponent for this weekend and said, “It don’t matter.” It sure was a funny moment during the media scrum when Derrick could barely pronounce his fighter’s name.
