In an exclusive interview with Eddie Mercado on BloodyElbow, Dustin Poirier had some interesting take on the betting scandal that happened towards the end of 2022. When asked about this, Dustin said,” I’m glad it happened because I usually do bet on fights. I’m glad it happened right before that [Sean] O’Malley – [Petr] Yan fight because I would have lost a bunch of money. I would have bet [Mateusz] Gamrot to beat [Beneil] Dariush, I would have bet Petr to beat O’Malley. I would’ve lost a bunch of money, so they saved me some money.” He added further saying,” I don’t know the details. I know they have some things that were fishy, and maybe we’ll get some clarity as time goes on about everything that happened. But I have no clue exactly what’s going on.

The fighter also confessed that he had bet before, but on himself of course. According to him, if he doesn’t bet on himself it becomes a problem for his confidence. The millionaire fighter clarified saying it was just “$200 here, a couple hundred.” Whatever the final verdict of this scandal is, Dustin“The Diamond” Poirier seems sure of himself to win fights, enough to bet on himself. Fans are excited to see him fight again after his last bout with Michael Chandler, where he won via submission.

UFC Fighter turned coach, James Krause was in the middle of a betting investigation, which happened at UFC Vegas 64. His name became the focal point when there was suspicious activity noticed for his fighter’s bout.

During UFC Vegas 64, hours before the Derrick Minner vs. Shayilan Nuerdanbieke fight the betting odds tipped in the favor of Nuerdanbieke, very unnaturally. Due to this, an investigation is taking place on him and all the fighters associated with him. Due to this, no fighter wants to be associated with James. The final verdict is still not out, but things aren’t looking too good for him.
