Elon Musk was a recent guest on the Joe Rogan Experience. Musk, who is a good friend of Joe Rogan spoke of a variety of subjects in the podcast. Notably, Musk spoke about poisoning from Tuna consumption. Rogan also had interesting things to say about it.
When he heard about Tuna poisoning, Rogan remembered a time when he visited a doctor. This is what he said about it:
I got my blood work done, and the doctor says, 'You have Arsenic in your blood'. And I go, 'Is someone poisoning me?' He goes, 'It's a very, very low level.'Joe Rogan via JRE
Interestingly, Rogan is a glutton for Sardines and consumes it late at night. The Arsenic content in his blood was due to the increased consumption of Sardines. Higher levels of Arsenic in the human body can cause death. However, Rogan only had minute levels in his blood, which were non-hazardous. Interestingly, Elon Musk was of the hilarious opinion that it might have been ‘The Girlfriend’ responsible for the Arsenic.
Rogan’s upcoming assignment in the UFC will be at UFC 296. The PPV is the final event of the promotion for 2023. Leon Edwards and Colby Covington headline the PPV, with Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval in the co-main event. The PPV also has Ian Garry against Vicente Luque and Shavkat Rakhmonov against Stephen Thompson.
Joe Rogan previews upcoming welterweight title fight at UFC 296
In a recent podcast episode with Cameron Hanes, Rogan gave his thoughts on the main event of UFC 296. Bowhunter Hanes is a very good friend of Colby Covington and wants Covington to become the champion.
At Hanes’s insistence, Rogan provided his take on the fight. Rogan appreciates the respective skill sets of both Covington and Edwards. This is what Rogan said about the fight:
Leon is f*ckking good, man. That's a good fight, but if you wanted to pick someone who'd have a really good shot at Leon, it would be someone who's an elite grappler, who has an incredible gas tank, who can push a ferocious pace. That's Colby, and Colby wades right into the fire.Joe Rogan on UFC 296 main event
Rogan has always supported Covington. Moreover, Rogan stood by Covington even when he made offensive remarks on live television. Like many others, Rogan has said that Covington is one of the nicest guys off-camera. However, Covington’s on-screen persona is that of a villain or an anti-hero. Moreover, Daniel Cormier recently said that Covington should fight at UFC 300 in the co-main event if victorious at UFC 296.
