Jamahal Hill not scared of Alex Pereira’s ‘death of touch’, vows to ‘knock him the f**k out’
Jamahal Hill is eyeing for a Light Heavyweight bout with Middleweight Champion, Alex Pereira.

In an exclusive interview with Middle Easy, newly crowned UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jamahal Hill talked about fighting at the upper echelon of the greatest MMA promotion and his future as the champion. Jamahal Hill also discussed a possible bout with Alex Pereira.
Jamahal Hill (11-1) became the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion after defeating Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 Brazil. The Light Heavyweight Champion is eyeing a fight with Middleweight Champion, Alex Pereira at 205 lbs. Alex Pereira has had a short yet explosive MMA career projectile after the fighter made his way up to the Middleweight Championship in a very short span of time.
“The only thing that interests me is, he(Alex Pereira) might come up (to 205 lbs),” Jamahal said. “I was there, watched it live. I respect Izzy but me, I’d knock him the f**k out,” Jamahal added. Hill also revealed that he would pick Izzy over Alex in their rematch for the middleweight championship.
After one of the best Middleweight runs in the UFC, Israel Adesanya finally tasted defeat after the former champion was defeated via T.K.O. to Brazilian Champion, Alex Pereira at UFC 281. Adesanya had been undefeated in the Middleweight division until his fight with Pereira.
Jiri Prochazka reacts to UFC 283 main event; aims to return in July/August for UFC Gold
Former Light Heavyweight Champion, Jiri Prochazka appeared at the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani to discuss his future and return after the fighter had to vacate the championship due to a severe shoulder injury.
Prochazka (29-3-1) was crowned UFC LHW champion after his victory against Glover Teixeira at UFC 275. However, things did not go as planned after the former champion was prescribed 9 months of recovery leave for a severe shoulder injury. Thus, having to vacate his newly earned championship.
In his interview with Ariel Helwani, the Czech fighter revealed that a possible return in July or August could be on the table as he continues to recover and rehabilitate from his injuries.
