PED expert Derek Munro was a recent guest on Joe Rogan‘s podcast. During the podcast, they delved into a wide variety of discussions. One of the discussions was about Conor McGregor and his alleged steroid use. Moreover, Rogan also revealed why his presumed MMA fight with Hollywood star Wesley Snipes did not happen.

This is what he said about the fight not happening to Derek Munro on Joe Rogan Experience:

I think, because he knew I was going to kill him. Uh, I think in the beginning, he thought that he would be able to stuff takedowns and he would kick my ass. And then he found out, I'm a Taekwondo Champion. Yeah, I'm a kickboxer.

Rogan believed that Snipes pulled out of the fight after he learned about Rogan’s credentials. Moreover, Rogan felt that his issues with tax evasion made the fight in the first place. Rogan trained hard for six months for the fight, which ultimately did not come through. If it had happened, it would’ve been the MMA debut of both Rogan and Snipes.

Wesley Snipes was a co-star of former UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture in the Expendables film franchise. Manu UFC fighters have acted in movies. Conor McGregor will star in the upcoming Road House remake starring Jake Gyllenhall. Tyron Woodley and Michael Bisping have acted in numerous Hollywood movies. Kamaru Usman and Georges St-Pierre have acted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Rogan is a close friend of both Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Nevertheless, it was Lee who brought up the idea to Rogan. This is what Rogan said about it.

Tommy was like, 'I want to fight Kid Rock. I'd kick his f*cking ass. Because Kid Rock dated Pamela Anderson, and Tommy used to be married to Pamela. So, they had some. F*cking they were trying to set up a fight, like Kid Rock and Tommy Lee in a fight.

Rogan believed Kid Rock would’ve won the fight if it had happened. Kid Rock is a fan of the UFC. His latest appearance was at UFC 296, where he walked out with Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson. Kid Rock and Trump were also at UFC 287 alongside Mike Tyson.
