Oliveira vs Makhachev takes place at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi and Khabib has put out a tweet that is very “un-Khabib like”. The UFC Hall-of-Famer strongly believes that his teammate, Islam Makhachev won’t have an opponent during the night of the fight.

Charles, in his previous bout against Justin Gaethje for the lightweight title, lost his belt to the weigh-in scale. Khabib’s tweet seems to be a dig at the Brazilian many failed weigh-ins in the past.

“I just think Charles Oliveira will not show up in Abu Dhabi and the UFC will replace Charles with Beneil Dariush. Regardless of who the opponent will be, Makhachev is on his way to becoming the best in the world,” read Khabib’s recent tweet. If you know Ali Abdelaziz and his antics on social media, this is exactly something that he would say.

Beneil Dariush also fights on the same card as Charles and Islam at UFC 280. Beneil is booked to fight Mateusz Gamrot in a potential title contender bout. Beneil is also managed by Abdelaziz and was one of the favorites to fight Islam Makhachev.
