Former UFC title challenger Marvin Vettori has been featured in the headlines for his brawl at a boxing event. Vettori was attending a DAZN event in Europe with Italian rapper Tony Effe. However, Effe started a brawl with pro-boxer Ion at the event. Vettori intervened in the brawl and landed hammer fists that knocked Ion down.

Tony Effe and Marvin Vettori are good friends. Ion’s real name is Omar Nguale Ilunga. Ion is a pro boxer with a 23-2-1 record. It would not go well for Effe if Vettori did not intervene. Effe is a rapper with no fighting experience, and Ion is an experienced boxer. Fortunately for Effe, Vettori handled the situation by knocking Ion down.

Marvin Vettori fought last week in London at UFC 286, defeating Roman Dolidze unanimously. In the fight, Vettori showcased the improved striking that enabled him to win rounds two and three to win the fight. He is 29 years old and can continue the momentum and challenge for the Middleweight belt.

Previously at UFC 263, Vettori lost a unanimous decision to Israel Adesanya for the Middleweight championship. He quickly bounced back with a victory over Paulo Costa but lost to Robert Whittaker in the next fight. The victory over Dolidze can help Vettori get back into title contention.
