Nate Diaz has never shied away from getting into trouble. While the Stockton superstar has several rivalries in the UFC, his spat with popular music star Justin Bieber is interesting, to say the least.
Nate Diaz‘s biggest rival in the UFC remains to be Conor McGregor. The two UFC superstars might have had the ugliest of moments with each other but also broke records together in the promotion. Following Diaz’s shocking win against the Irishman at UFC 196, McGregor’s fanbase was rattled.
The pop star, Justin Bieber was one of the many who spewed hatred towards the Stockton Slugger following the upset win over The Notorious One. The two traded shots on social media and finally one day met each other in real life. On the popular late-night show hosted by Conan O’Brien, Diaz made an appearance and spoke about his encounter.
“I was out in here in L.A, and I went to a club, like four days later, and everybody was coming up to be like, ‘Hey, Justin Bieber’s over there in the corner!’ Like there was this big fight that was supposed to go down between me and Justin,” said Nate on the Conan O’Brien show.
“He had a little crew with him, a bunch of little Biebers and they came and found me. I had a crew with me too. He was like, ‘It’s all good, let’s squash the beef, man.’ I was like, ‘Wow, is that how a beef works out here? It’s all good, I have no problem with you, Justin,'” Nate narrated this funny encounter.
What did Justin Bieber say to Nate Diaz after the Conor McGregor fight?
Diaz took the McGregor fight on short notice and stunned the world with his submission victory in the second round of the fight. After the fight at UFC 196, while the entire McGregor fanbase was having a meltdown, Bieber put out a post criticizing Diaz for his victory.
“No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect,” wrote Bieber on his Instagram post.
Diaz being Diaz shared a post on Instagram in reply to the popstar’s comments and shared a picture of him sharing the music artist. “Biebers a hater,” wrote the Stockton fighter in the caption.
