WATCH: Hollywood actress Florence Pugh confesses love for $285 million worth Lewis Hamilton at the British GP
Florence Pugh betrayed McLaren by professing her love for Lewis Hamilton even though she was present at the papaya squad's pits at the British GP.
The fans are currently a bit miffed since Lewis Hamilton‘s rumored love interest Shakira is nowhere to be seen at his home Grand Prix. The Colombian actress was present at the Paris Fashion Week a couple of days ago, and then it was reported that she was spotted around Heathrow Airport in London, giving rise to hopes that she will visit Silverstone during the race weekend. As of now, the British GP is underway but the popstar is not present at the paddock.
While Shakira is missing, it does not mean Lewis Hamilton has a lack of female celebrities fawning over him. Oscar-nominated Hollywood actress Florence Pugh, who came over to Silverstone for witnessing the British GP from the McLaren pits professed her love for the seven-time World Champion quite openly. During her interview with Martin Brundle, she claimed, “We love Lewis. He’s lovely. We’re always screaming for him.”
Florence Pugh, who is rose to fame because of her critically-acclaimed film ‘Midsommar’, is currently on a mission to promote her latest masterpiece ‘Oppenheimer’. But she is hardly the only Hollywood A-lister to grace the historic circuit of Silverstone this weekend. Brad Pitt has attended almost all of the practice sessions for the shooting of his Apple TV film where he will be playing a racer for the fictional team Apex GP.
Florence Pugh is actually at the British GP as an ambassador for a Jackie Stewart initiative
While it is not uncommon for celebrities to visit the Formula 1 races, Florence Pugh is at Silverstone for a special cause. She has recently joined British Formula 1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart’s Race Against Dementia campaign as an ambassador. Other famous famous associated with Sir Stewart’s unique welfare campaign include Scottish motorsport businessman John Clark.
The British GP looks all set to be titled one of the most exciting races of this season. The Qualifying saw some huge shocks as the McLaren duo made it into top 3 and the start to the race was excellent for Lando Norris. But within a few laps, Max Verstappen got to the Briton and beat him at his own home race to snatch the lead at Silverstone.
