Little did he know that his actions, which have now been proven to date back six years, would alter not just his reputation but also that of those around him.

The league has decided not to review Mike Vrabel’s actions, as they did not find them to be in breach of their conduct policy. So did the franchise, which stood behind their team leader from the start of this controversy.

However, that hasn’t stopped owner Robert Kraft from eyeing up potential replacements should the situation become untenable. ‘The Krafts are extremely loyal and have no intention of firing Mike, nor do they want to see him quit over all this drama,’ the insider explained.

This was the British publication revealing what sources told them about the current state of affairs at the Patriots. The sources also told them that the organization has no intention of firing Vrabel, as they are extremely loyal.

But in the event their former player decides to leave his job and escape the noise, the Patriots will first look at Mike Tomlin, who has just announced his foray into media.

The Daily Mail also revealed that in case Mike Tomlin declines to take the role as the next head coach of the New England Patriots, they would likely promote Josh McDaniels.

Robert Kraft does not want it to go there. But the way Mike Vrabel has been feeling about the entire fiasco could force the billionaire to think about a new path for his team.

‘Mike feels terrible on many levels, especially since Dianna’s career is pretty much over, and that blood is on his hands,’ the source said. ‘He feels terrible that he is responsible and that she may never be able to work again.’

Mike Vrabel has never had the media follow his every move. Now that has changed, as pictures of him possibly buying a gift for his wife, to where someone followed the Ohio native from inside the airport to ask him questions.

The last time paparazzi followed a head coach was after the Jets dismissed Robert Saleh from his job. But that was a one-off, and in the Patriots’ head coach’s case, this might not be the last.

TMZ shared the video taken by a channel named Backgrid, which first approached the former linebacker inside the airport. After first exchanging pleasantries, the reporter asks Vrabel about the double standards and whether he should step down.

The head coach, with the very gift he was pictured buying earlier, increased his pace and did not speak a word. That continued all the way until the two-time Coach of the Year got into his Range Rover SUV.

He was not the only one with pictures and videos taken of him. TMZ got their hands on pictures of Mike Vrabel’s wife, Jennifer ‘Jen’ Vrabel, waiting for her flight at another airport. It shows her still wearing her wedding ring, which means the marriage is still intact.

Such increased coverage could force someone to decide what is best for their family. The Daily Mail reported that Dianna Russini decided to quit her job to protect her children from this mess. It seems the Patriots are aware that their coach could go down a similar path.
