New challenger emerges for 12-time Champion Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair was crowned the Raw Women’s Champion at WWE Summerslam 2021, when she pinned Nikki A.S.H. in a triple-threat match that also involved Rhea Ripley. The title is now the 12th WWE World title in The Queen’s long list of accomplishments.

On the latest episode of WWE Raw, Charlotte Flair came out to celebrate her record 12th win. Surprisingly, Flair was even being cheered by the crowd loudly, which is seldom the case. The Queen even went on to question that why her statues weren’t being erected – The Statue of Opportunity! She posed in the ring as the fireworks went off.

The Raw Women’s Champion listed her accomplishments. She also mentioned that how she started the first-ever Women’s Evolution, and was about to start a new one. She was not messing around anymore. As Flair was about to leave the ring, her new challenger emerged – Alexa Bliss.

Bliss walked out with Lily and said that she just wanted to say hi before the show went ahead.  Flair, for a couple of seconds seemed to be lost and then looked surprised. This looks like Bliss is now after the Raw Women’s Championship and Flair will have to overcome not only Bliss but even Lily to defend her title successfully.

Months ago Charlotte Flair was involved in a feud with the then-Raw Women’s Champion Asuka. The two Superstars were expected to collide at Wrestlemania 37. But for some unknown reason, Flair went missing from WWE during the road to Wrestlemania.

After she returned, she was involved in a long rivalry with Rhea Ripley, who had won the title at Wrestlemania. After months of chasing, Flair was able to win the title from Ripley at Money in the Bank. This was her 11th WWE title. But her reign turned out to be quite short – with the Money in the Bank winner, Nikki A.S.H., cashing in on her just a night after MITB!

But Flair managed to win the title back at WWE Summerslam 2021. While she now moves on to feud against Alexa Bliss, her challengers – Ripley and A.S.H. are seemingly forming a Tag Team.
