Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are the two biggest superstars of this era. The two powerhouses have battled one another several times, including 3 Wrestlemania Main Events.

Despite fighting several times, the two men still haven’t reached a consensus. They both share similar feats of strength and have significantly improved their mic skills. Another common factor between them is a Wrestlemania victory over The Undertaker.

The first encounter between the two behemoths was at the Fastlane Event of 2016. The main event of the show featured Reigns taking on Lesnar and Dean Ambrose in a triple-threat match. The match was brutal and a show stealer. Lesnar delivered suplexes and F5s whereas Reigns countered with Superman punches and Spears. In the end, Reigns pinned Ambrose to win the match.

SummerSlam 2018

The two men collided at the SummerSlam event of 2018. Lesnar was holding the title for 504 days at the time. The Money In The Bank contract holder at the time, Braun Strawman also threatened to cash in his contract during the match. The distractions caused by Strawman during the match helped Reigns to deliver the final spear and become the new champion.

The Crown Jewel event was unique in itself. The main event involved Reigns and Lesnar against each other. Paul Heyman’s position remained uncertain throughout as to whose side he was on. During the ending moments, Heyman threw the title in between both men, leading them to snatch the belt from each other. With assistance from the Usos at the end, Reigns won.

WrestleMania 38

The main event of Night 2 of Wrestlemania 38 involved another encounter between the two men. Paul Heyman was quite actively involved in the match with multiple distractions. In total, it took 4 spears from Reigns to lay down the Beast. It also involved the unification of the World Heavyweight and Universal Championships.

The most latest match between The Beast and The Tribal Chief was at SummerSlam of 2022. The build to this match led the fans to believe that it was the time for Reigns’ undefeated streak to finally end. The Usos were heavily involved in the match, along with Austin Theory’s attempt to cash in his Money In The Bank Contract led to Reigns again having the last laugh.

Reigns and Lesnar have put on some incredible matches over the years. In recent years, Reigns has reigned supreme over Lesnar during his run as ‘The Tribal Chief’. Their last encounter was at the Summerslam in 2022 and it is highly likely that the two men will compete against one another anytime soon.
